In a somewhat unfamiliar twist, we offer you a trailer for a new FILM coming out in march. Confused? Perhaps, but it is not necessarily the story of David and Emily and their coastal holiday retreat that caught our eye. Rather, that six of the songs on the soundtrack are penned by our sophomore sweethearts Noah and the Whale. Independent film maker Tom Harper was clearly impressed with how well their second album complemented the visually aesthetic yet plotless short film that came with The First Days of Spring. In addition, the band have penned and demoed half of the third album, which also, I understand, is accompanied by another short film. Here’s for looking forward to the soundtrack of The Scouting Book For Boys, and indeed the next installment of Charlie’s cinematic endeavours that we might actually make it to the end of.
