MY MIND IS ALWAYS THINKING THAT MY HEART DON’T FOLLOW THROUGH.

“Oh, oh oh oh” is just about the perfect way to describe young folkesque singer/songwriter jamie ley, and it’s unsurprising that such accurate description comes from his own pallet - for this young man seams his songs with a silk of gold. gold, we say - untouchable, delightful, intriguing and encapsulating musical magic. that late night bus journey to see the one you love, your true love. traveling through the night, flask + tea in hand, maybe a biscuit provided by a kind old stranger whom you’ll never forget. beautiful.
that’s what we have here folks, something spectacular, yet quiet and unassuming in it’s approach - you won’t find jamie shaking his ‘bum’ in similar fashion to shakira or wearing outrageous outfits reminiscent to lady gaga-wear, no. jamie will walk through the crowd, onto the stage, ukele in hand, and you won’t so much realise at first what this guy has, but trust us like never before - you’ll know by the end. and you’ll be coming back for more, just ask proud, communion or young and lost club, who’ve all caught the bug, and rightfully so.
